50 DE Smooth Dreadlocks Matched to Client’s Base Colour

Fifty DE dreads at 50 to 55 centimetres, colour built to match the client’s own base. When the goal is matching rather than contrasting, we work from a photo of the client’s roots in natural daylight. Indoor light distorts warm tones and can push a match toward yellow.

DE (double-ended) is the fold-in-half construction, which gives more volume per section than SE (single-ended, loop-top). For a full-head install on medium hair, DE is the usual default.
